Statement
James Kerr works as painter and as a commercial photographer of
architecture, interiors, and landscapes.

and Inkjet Prints.
Painting
His style is generally painterly rather than precise. He likes
either to abstract his work from pencil sketches drawn previously,
or occasionally working directly in front of his subject matter in
the open air, or in his studio. His colourful work relies on a deep
interest and understanding in the underlying structural composition
of all images.
When he lived in London he had two exhibitions in London Galleries,
and exhibited at the RBA, & ROI.
Since moving to Warwickshire he has sold privately and exhibited
locally.
Photography
Working digitally with a very high resolution camera he likes to
produce images with good compositional rigour sometimes with a
surreal touch, landscape and interiors being his favoured subject
matter.
How to buy
his work
Well framed original paintings such as those shown range from about
£250.00 to £600.00 dependent on size
Alternatively signed inkjet prints on fine art paper of his work
both painting and photography up to A2 size can be bought through
the artist for between £50.00.and £150.00.
